Sarawut Intarob

Sarawut Intarob (สราวุฒิ อินทรบ) is a landscape and documentary photographer working from north-eastern Thailand. He photographs what he calls “life-space” — lifestyle woven into natural beauty — placing people inside the land they belong to rather than in front of it.
His compositions are built on lines and patterns: terrace edges, furrows, ridges, the repetition of a path walked every morning. He works almost exclusively in backlight and 45-degree side light, and waits for the hours when those two conditions hold.
Since 2014 he has photographed across fourteen countries, from the rice terraces of Isan to the Karakoram, Namibia, and the Faroe Islands. His pictures have been published, exhibited, and licensed internationally.
